All of these photos were taken in the month of June (with perhaps a sprinkle of late May), when I seemed not to have time to post much about my community garden plots. There are a ton of plants, and I'm starting to harvest a bunch of food.
harvested last week bloomed in early June (I think).
trellis arch tunnel so they can grow vertically over to the wire fencing, too. Hopefully they'll leave my ground cherry, Hungarian wax pepper, cotton, peanut, and artichoke alone (they were crowding everything out, all floppin' around).
in my living room. Perhaps it's a variety thing (the living-room corn was 'Bloody Butcher,' which gets pretty darn tall). I'm not sure I care enough about corn to experiment a ton, though.
DC Tropics plant swap. It's a cool vine and is growing up the trellis well. It didn't end up staying in a pot to be "controlled," however!
